BIO

Michelle joined the David Law Office as a partner in 2018, after a career as an Assistant Attorney General to focus on helping individuals facing criminal charges and aiding individuals in obtaining or maintaining their professional license.

Michelle has practiced administrative licensing law, family law, and criminal law; which makes her more experienced and understanding when it comes to representing individuals charged with crimes and the collateral effects of those charges. Often, criminal charges are not isolated and are accompanied by custody cases, protection from abuse and / or staking cases, and actions from administrative agencies such as DCF, or licensing boards.

Michelle has experienced criminal law on both sides, having been a prosecutor and now fighting for clients being accused of crimes. She additionally interned for the Appellate Defenders Office while in law school, researching and writing briefs; one of which resulted in the release of a client from prison after a wrongful conviction.

Michelle is a native Kansan, having grown up in a small town in North Central Kansas. She graduated from Kansas State University in 2010 with a degree in Horticulture. Michelle received her J.D. from Washburn University School of Law.

When Michelle is not practicing law she enjoys scuba diving, gardening, and hiking with her dog.
